The following is a description of Quantum OC, LLC’s privacy policy (the “Policy”) regarding the disclosure of personal information.  Certain sections of this Policy related to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) only apply to you to the extent that the CCPA applies to your personal data. 

 

We collect information about you (such as your name, address, social security/tax I.D. number, assets and income) from our discussions with you, from documents that you may deliver to us, and in the course of providing services to you.  We may use this information to provide services to you, to accept you as a limited partner or shareholder, to process a transaction for you, or otherwise in furtherance of our business.  In order to service your account and effect your transactions, we may provide your personal information to our affiliates and to firms that we have engaged to assist us in servicing your account and have a need for such information, such as an outside accounting firm, auditor, attorney, or fund administrator.  We may also disclose such information to financial institutions with which we have joint client/investor relationships.  We require third party service providers and financial institutions with which we have joint client/investor relationships to protect the confidentiality of your information and to use the information only for the purposes for which we disclose the information to them.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your personal information.  Except as noted in this Policy or as required by law, we do not otherwise provide information about you to any other third parties without your prior permission.  We do not sell your personal information.

 

Individuals whose personal data is protected by the CCPA may have certain rights:

 

  • You may have the right to request that we delete any personal information which we have about you. You may email us at bcolone@quantumfundoc.com with “CCPA Right to Delete” in the subject line and in the body of your message to exercise this right.

 

  • You may have the right to request from us:

    • the specific pieces of personal information that we have about you;

    • the categories of personal information we have collected about you;

    • the categories of sources from which your personal information is collected;

    • the categories of your personal information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose about you;

    • the categories of third parties to whom your personal information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose; and

    • the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling your personal information.

You may email us at bcolone@quantumfundoc.com with “CCPA Right to Know” in the subject line and in the body of your message to exercise any of these rights. There are circumstances where we are not required to comply with consumer requests and we will let you know if one of those situations arises.

 

California residents may not be discriminated against for exercising any of the rights described above. Please note that we are not discriminating against you if we deny a request to know or delete if we have a legitimate reason for the denial. We may also charge a fee for excessive or repetitive requests.
